LNK-WP-IPE101 is an industrial IP67 Gigabit waterproof PoE extender with a 1-in-1-out design. It is compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards. A single unit can simultaneously extend a Gigabit network and PoE power supply by 100 meters. This waterproof PoE extender supports three-level cascading up to a maximum distance of 400 meters. No external power supply is required. It is plug-and-play and is suitable for harsh outdoor and industrial environments.

Working Principle

The waterproof PoE extender is powered by PoE and uses Ethernet relay technology. It receives network signals and power from the upstream PSE device, undergoes internal signal shaping and power reconfiguration, and then is transmitted synchronously to PD devices such as cameras and APs through the output port, achieving simultaneous data and power extension. It adopts the store-and-forward mechanism, supporting gigabit line speed and 10KB large frames, and maintains stable transmission even with three-level cascading.

Installation and Usage Steps

• Select Cat5e or higher quality network cables. Connect the PSE device to the PoE input port of the extender, and ensure the waterproof connector is sealed properly.
• Connect the output port of the extender to the terminal PD device using a network cable. Complete the port connection.
• Fix the device to the wall with the accompanying bracket to ensure a secure installation and proper wiring.
• After powering on, the device will automatically identify itself. No configuration is required; simply plug and play to complete the deployment.
