Overview

The LNK-M3011 series Gigabit Ethernet media converter, featuring 10/100/1000Mbps

auto-negotiation, utilizes switching technology to enable media conversion. It adheres

to IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3z, and IEEE802.3ab standards, supporting two

types of network media connections: 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T (twisted pair)

and 100/1000Base-SX/LX (fiber).
It seamlessly converts electrical signals from twisted-pair cables (10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T)

to optical signals from fiber cables (100/1000Base-SX/LX), extending network transmission

distances from 100 meters (over copper) to 20km—even up to 120km—over fiber. Compatible

with multi-mode dual-fiber, single-mode dual-fiber, and single-mode single-fiber transmissions,

the Micro Mini Media Converter boasts a ultra-compact design for easy installation and integration

into other equipment. Its fiber port supports both 100M and 1000M speeds, ensuring broad compatibility

with various devices.
