HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable

Model:  LNK-HC100

Overview

The E-link professional AV transmission solution is a dedicated HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable,
designed as a paired system (transmitter + receiver) to extend HDMI and IR signals via standard 75ohm
RG-6U coaxial cables—ideal for DVRs, DVDs, CCTV cameras, home theaters, and other consumer and
professional AV setups. As HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable, they leverage the widely deployed
RG6 coax infrastructure to deliver reliable signal transmission, eliminating the limitations of traditional HDMI
cables.
This HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable system enables simultaneous transmission of HDMI and IR
signals over a single 75ohm RG-6U coaxial cable, with a maximum stable transmission distance of up to 100
meters (328 feet). It supports HDMI 1.2 and 1.3 standards, compatible with advanced features such as Deep
Color (up to 12-bit) and full HD 1080p resolution—ensuring no loss of image clarity, color accuracy, or signal
integrity, which is critical for home theater entertainment, CCTV monitoring, and DVD playback scenarios.
A key advantage of HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable is their cost-effectiveness and practicality:
compared to heavy, expensive copper HDMI cables (which suffer from signal degradation over long distances),
and more complex optical fiber cables (which require specialized installation), RG-6U coaxial cables are widely
available, lightweight, and easy to route—greatly reducing deployment costs and installation difficulty. The system
also integrates IR signal pass-through, allowing users to remotely control HDMI source devices (e.g., set-top boxes,
DVD players, or gaming consoles) from the receiver end, enhancing operational convenience.
In terms of setup, the HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable system follows a straightforward workflow:
connect the HDMI source (set-top box, DVD player, etc.) to the transmitter unit via an HDMI cable; link the
transmitter and receiver using a single 75ohm RG-6U coaxial cable; connect the receiver to the HDTV or
display via another HDMI cable; and power both the transmitter and receiver using the included dedicated
power adapters. This plug-and-play design requires no software configuration or professional technical expertise,
making it accessible for both home users and small-scale commercial installations.
With its compatibility with common AV devices, 100-meter transmission range, reliance on widely available RG6
coaxial cables, and integrated IR control, HDMI Extenders over RG6 Coaxial Cable are a versatile solution for
scenarios including home theater systems (extending media player signals to large HDTVs), CCTV monitoring
networks (connecting DVRs to remote displays), and small commercial setups (DVD playback in waiting areas).
It combines reliability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use, serving as an efficient AV signal extension solution
for both consumer and light professional applications.
